  • Thursday
    • Preparation for class: Register i>clicker or REEF for smartphone, buy textbook, register for MyMathlab.
    • Chapter 1 class notes (print and bring to class, or make sure you're able to modify it using tablet/computer)

Week 1

    • Continue to bring Chapter 1 notes
    • Preparation for class: If you have not done so yet: register i>clicker/REEF, register for MyMathlab. Quickly read Chapter 1 of textbook, paying more careful attention to concepts that you forgot/never learned.
  • Thursday

    • Chapter 2 class notes (part 2) (print and bring to class, or make sure you're able to modify it using tablet/computer)
    • Preparation for class: Read sections 2.3 and 2.4 of the textbook
  • Thursday
    • Continue to bring Chapter 2 part 2 class notes.

Week 3

    • Preparation for class: Read textbook Section 3.1 and 3.2
    • Continue to bring Chapter 2 part 3 notes

Week 4
  • Tuesday
    • Continue to bring Week 3 class notes.
    • Note that signs tables are not taught in the book, this is an additional topic covered in this class.
    • Chapter 3 class notes (print and bring to class).
  • Thursday
    • Continue to bring Chapter 3 class notes
    • Preparation for class: Read textbook Section 3.4-3.6.
    • Here is a practice midterm . Another one will be posted next week. Make sure you do it! Answers will be posted next week.
    • Preparation for the exam: the review checklist and the formula sheet contain everything you will need to know for the FINAL so some of this you will not need for the midterm. The midterm covers everythign up to radtional functions (included).

Week 5
Week 6:
  • Tuesday: MIDTERM!!!
    • No calculators will be allowed (unless special exception from DRC). Also no electronics of any kind.
    • Be on time
    • No bathroom breaks allowed
  • Thursday
    • Continue to bring Chapter 4 class notes.
    • Chapter 5 part 1 notes (print and bring to class).
    • Read Section 4.3 of the textbook

Week 7:
  • Tuesday
    • Preparation for class: Continue to bring lecture notes on exponentials
  • Thursday

  • Wednesday, Dec 13: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: FINAL
  • No calculators allowed
  • Bring ID, be on time (10 min early is best)
