Welcome
The Baskin School of Engineering Development Office works in conjunction with alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends of the School of Engineering to secure external resources for the benefit of the school.
Founded in 1997, the Jack Baskin School of Engineering endeavors to develop and sustain first-rate engineering education and research programs. Fundamental to this vision is our relationship with industry partners (particularly those in Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area), our alumni, and other friends with whom we work to create and disseminate knowledge. These relationships are central to the fulfillment of our mission.
As a leader in engineering research and instruction, the Baskin School is building excellence in three critical areas: information technology, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. Inherently interdisciplinary, these areas complement and supplement each other, advancing the school's strength and promise. We invite you to partner with us to prepare the next generation of engineers and create the knowledge necessary for breakthrough technologies.
Interactions with our various external partners and supporters take on many forms, many of which are described below and are found in the accompanying links.
