| Howdy. I'm Joey Rios. I've been
at UCSC for over a smidge over 2 years and am a PhD candidate in the
Computer Engineering department. I seem to only update my pages every year or
so. Hopefully there's enough here to get an idea of how my time is
spent (or at least how it's supposed to be spent).
I used to work on circuits and do-hickeys. It seems that when
most people find this site they are most interested in
my work with the
ML310
from Xilinx, everyone's favorite full
ATX board with a big ol' FPGA.
Nowadays I am working on optimization stuff having to do with the
National Airspace System. Currently that involves some
parallelization and acceleration of traffic flow management tools.
If they give us grads a little more disk space, I hope to add some more
personal stuff like pictures and whatnot.
