prog4 is now graded, mid2 grades are also posted.
To find out how you're doing so far, take the running score total
and divide by 74. That will give you an approximate percentage.

We're meeting in 506-E2 on Wednesday for your project demo/competition.
Be sure to have everything submitted by noon.
It should contain your code, documentation, images/videos, html, etc.
so that we can create the class project web page like
this from last year.

Mar 11:
I now have a fairly clean draft of mid2. As announced,
there will be 4 problems, equally weighted, but different
levels of difficulty. Problems will be on (i) quaternions,
(ii) physically based animation (iii) camera systems and
(iv) inverse kinematics.
Things you should be proficient at include: cross products,
inverting a matrix (2x2), getting derivatives, normalizing
a vector, Euler integration.

Mar 9:
Prog3 has been graded. Note that weights have been adjusted
to reflect Prog4 as bonus assignment.
Mid-term review, 11th (wed), 12-2 (location TBA, watch the forum)

Mar 6:
Big idea contest -- if you or your friends have one,
get a chance for part of the $30k pot in the
Citris white paper competition.
-
Mar 3:
Prog4 is now treated as a bonus problem, early bonus still applies,
but the maximum bonus points is capped at 5%.
The weights of the other programs have been changed from 5% each
to 6% each so that it totals 24% if you don't do prog4.
The weight of the final project is changed from 25% to 26%
so that the total programming points adds up to 50.
The total programming points is capped at 50%.
If you exceed this cap, a note is added to your narrative evaluation.
-
Mar 2:
Note that we'll have our second project update this Thursday.
Ideally, you should have a semi-functional prototype at this point.
I think we can also go faster on the project update compared to our
first one.
-
Mar 1:
Prog 2 scores are now available.
