CMPS 160 -- Lab Assignment 1

Objectives:
Go over the "Hello World" OpenGL program below.
Description:

Copy the following
OpenGL code.

Compile and run the code and make sure it works.
Debug as necessary.

Now, recompile, but create a statically linked executable .
Transfer this executable to another computer and check to see if
it can run properly by itself i.e. it should be self-contained.

Lastly, do the submission process described below.
Grading:
This lab assignment will form part of your CMPS 160L grade.
The other component of CMPS 160L grade is your attendance.
Submission:
Submission must be done using the "submit" command from CATS.
- submit cmps160-ap.s13 lab1 lab1.tar, or
- submit cmps160-ap.s13 lab1 lab1.zip
This command should work from unix.ic.ucsc.edu.
Create and submit a subdirectory called lab1.
It should contain the executable and
all the files you have to make your program compile/run.
Tar or zip up lab1 before submitting.
