CMPS 160/L -- Introduction to Computer Graphics

Latest Information:

• Dec 4: Projects Page is up! Check your stuff and let Ken know if there is anything missing.
• Dec 4: Midterm 2 grades are now posted. Weights have been adjusted to 70-30 in your favor. Quite a few students had difficulty with the Depth Sort problem i.e. how to determine if one polygon is in front of another. Midterms will be handed back next Wednesday.
• Dec 4: Attendance is mandatory from 4-7pm next Wednesday. Final project submissions are due by 4pm. Be sure to include a well written project report with all LOCAL links and all materials are self-contained --> all links should be to local submit directory. Presentation and final reports are important components of your final project.

  We will follow the approved list to sequence the presentations. Limit your presentation to 5 minutes. We will have a timer to enforce this rule. People with technical difficulty with A/V will be bumped to the end of the line. Make sure you contact me before Wednesday if you have not tested out your setup in the classroom yet. Run your demo from your laptop. There's no software on the classroom PC/Mac. If you have vga out, you should be fine. I have 2 older Mac ports-vga adapters. These won't work on newer Macs.

• Nov 30: Just added some notes on non-uniform knot vectors from question in class today.
• Nov 25: Attendance is mandatory during our final project demo, which is scheduled for Dec 9, 4-7pm in the lecture room. Each group will have 5 minutes to present their project. The allotted time is very short. So think about the important points you want to convey. We will also need some time after everyone's presentation in order to tally your votes and handout prizes/goodies. You will also need to fill out a group assessment form.
