Error Comparison.

This figure shows the summed error along rays using zero order hold (top), multipass shearing (middle) and trilinear interpolation (bottom). The reconstruction errors were calculated using analytically calculated sphere, with a ramp of intensities and a cube with maximum intensity. The multipass method has more error than the trilinear reconstruction in all cases. This figure shows how error is placed in the figure, with error pseudo colored, scaled from the maximum error. The maximum error is the zero order hold for the sphere, and the multipass for the cube. The scale of colors is shown at the bottom ramping from zero on the left to the maximum on the right.
