Hello, this is Chao's homepage.
My name is Chao Shi, and I was born in Beijing, China. Now I am a Ph. D candidate in department of Electrical Engineering at University of California, Santa Cruz. My advisor is Prof. Claire Gu, and my research direction is Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF) biosensors based on Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS), optical trapping and other optical devices.
I received my B. S. and M. E. degrees in Electrical Engineering, both from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Maybe you are interested in more detailed information about my research, then please see my Curriculum Vitae.
