David Helmbold's research interests lie in theoretical computer science, including combinatorial algorithms, machine learning, and parallel computation.

Bruce Montague
Bruce Montague is the author of the Java Nanokernal used in the UCSC embedded Java project. He is also the originator of a new software architecture called Soft Instructions.

Marcelo Montoreano
Marcelo is working on improving the Java Nanokernel.
