1) Microsoft Axapta is an ERP software application. It therefore has modules to support multiple business functions, and some demos of these features can be found on the webpage:

(You may need Internet Explorer to view these. Also, try to use a computer with a speaker so that you can hear the narration!)

In particular take a look at some of the software package’s HRM functionality in the demo

If you owned a business, would you use an HRM application like this one to match employees with tasks? Why or why not? (3 or 4 sentences)

2) Also look at the following demo that highlights some of the software’s SCM features.

In what situations might you want to use SCM software like the one demonstrated in the above link to manage your relationships with suppliers? When might it be easier to order supplies manually? (3 or 4 sentences)
