Develop a coding standard that you will present to your group for acceptance. You may use one of the coding standards that is available from a textbook or other publically available spot. Document your sources. Remember that "... a coding standard is a standard not a guide - if it's in the standard, you have to do it, it's not optional - so be selective about what you put in."* Include examples of use for items in your coding standard. Additionally, include a discussion about WHY you choose each specific element of your standard. This later part can be used to persuade your team members to adopt your standard rather than a team member's standard.
