  3. In the lab we will be using the standard/free SDK from Sun Microsystems running under Solaris (UNIX). You can download a version for free from the link in the previous sentence. You should navigate to the "Download" tab and then select the download for "JDK 5.0 Update 8".

  8. To share a directory with your partner do the following.

    1. Make a directory (e.g. mkdir 12a).

    2. Execute the command: fs sa 12a partnersLogin read

    That will let your partner read the files in that directory. If you are also letting your partner modify the files in that directory, then replace the "read" in the command with "write".
