Due: Thursday, May 28, 1998. Assignments are due at the beginning of class. Please put your full name, and the assignment number on the upper right of the assignment.

Do the following problems from your text, Castleman, Digital Image Processing:
12.1, 12.4, 12.5

P4) The impulse response of a linear time-invariant system is h[n] = 0 for n< 1, h[n] = 1 for n in (1, 2), h[n] = -1 for n in (3, 4), and h[n] = 0 for n > 4. Determine and carefully sketch the response of this system to the input x[n] = u[n-3] (recall that u[n] is the unit step sequence discussed in class.
