I'm Tracy Larrabee, a Professor of Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (that's me on the left, with one of our recent students, Jessica Higgins, on the right). The campus is just outside of Santa Cruz, proper. I received my B.S. in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Caltech, and my M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

With Joel Ferguson, I head up the SCTest group. I'm interested in modeling realistic defects and producing tests that detect or diagnose them. You can look at a list of my recent publications.

My office hours are Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 and Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00. There are a couple of times during the quarter when I will have to reschedule office hours, but I will make that clear on my class webforums. Feel free to drop me email anytime.

This quarter I am teaching Introduction to Digital Design and Discrete Mathematics.

I have worked on the ABET accreditation of the Computer Engineering department.

The Undergraduate Webforum is a good place ask questions that don't seem to fit any other place.

An aside to students: if you want paper recommendations from me, you must give me addressed (and if necessary, stamped) envelopes. If I do not have such envelopes, your recommendation letters will wait until I do have them. Email recommendation letters require only a valid email address to which I can send the recommendation.
