Abe in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

This production by West End Studio Theater on 5 June 2008 was the culmination of an 8-session after-school theater group at the Broadway Playhouse. Abe was very pleased to have the lead as Harry Potter, and one of his classmates from school was delighted to be Hermione Granger. This was his 3rd Harry Potter play, but the first time he's had such a big part in one. It was his 15th production with Pisces Moon or West End Studio Theater.

Abe had over 100 lines in this production and was the tallest kid in the play---after his next Harry Potter production this summer, it will be time for him to move up to the teen company.

The director, Eleni Giannis, did a good job in the short time available for getting the kids up to speed. There was a very small amount of prompting needed (for some of the kids this was their first time on stage), but overall the production went smoothly. The pictures are not available yet---I have to crop and adjust the lighting still. Eleni Giannis, the director Hagrid fetches Harry from the Dursleys, and delivers the owl Hedwig Hagrid and Harry prepare to fly to Hogwarts using Hagrid's umbrella Harry shows Ron the famous scar Draco Malfoy recognizes that Ron must be a Weasley Harry under the sorting hat, trying desperately to avoid Slytherin Harry Potter and Ron Weasley meet Hermione Granger Harry doesn't have the answer in potions class, but Hermione does. Herminone wakes Ron and Harry in the boys' dorm, to let them know that there is a troll In charms class, Hermione is the only one to levitate her feather Harry tries on his father's invisibility cloak Don't you understand? If Voldemort gets the Stone, there won't be any Hogwarts. Harry is surprised to find Professor Quirrell after getting through the enchantments. Harry wakes in the hospital wing, attended by Hagrid, Ron, Herminone, and Professor Dumbledore
