In Spring 2004, while Kevin was on sabbatical in Seattle, WA, Abe attended Meridian School, in Mr. Holmes's third-grade class. While there, he participated in the third-grade play "Trickster Hare's Feast", which was set in an African village. Since he was not in the class yet for their main production, but only for a later showing at a retirement home, he was given a very small part as a villager.
