Hongyun Wang received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Alexandre Chorin. After that, Dr. Wang extended his research into biophysics and molecular modeling. He did his postdoctoral research with Professor George Oster in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Berkeley before joining the faculty in School of Engineering at UCSC.
